Since many has emailed me asking what is JPK all about and many issues related to them, I'm starting a series of Frequently Asked Questions for the benefit of all, especially if you're not in the system yet and lazy to visit their official website.
So, what is JPK (or better known with the former name, MLVK)?
On 2 May 1989, Ministry of Human Resources (MoHR) formed the Department of Skill Development (DSD) for the purpose of promoting and coordinating skill training strategy and programs in accordance to Malaysia's technological and economical needs.
