Students who are more interested in developing work skills rather than pursuing an academic path are encouraged to apply for courses under the Government’s skills training programmes. Human Resources Minister Datuk Seri Dr Fong Chan Onn said his Ministry and the Youth and Sports Ministry provides various training programmes including courses in automotive, electronics and mechanical engineering, hospitality management and beauty skills. Dr Fong encouraged students to apply as the Government programmes are just as good as those offered by the private institutions. The first phase of the road show would be held in 18 places nationwide from March 21 to April 14.

I personally don't agree that the Government institutions are as good as the private ones, at least most of them do not confirm to this statement. Most of the time, the equipments are good but just that the "software" are not up to mark. What do you say???
